We've earned our reputation as the #1 school and camp in the Tri-State area by teaching sound fundamentals while providing a fun, healthy and memorable experience for the both the student and their parents.
Our students improve their hitting, fielding, throwing and base-running skills while, at the same time, they improve their mental and physical toughness.
I wanted to let you know how much my son enjoyed his week at your baseball camp. Every day he looked forward with great anticipation to the day's activities.
Thanks so much for all the time you spent with our Kevin. It is easy to see that you have genuine love for the kids and the game.
Youth baseball league coach and parent of CBS camper
R. Gordon "Russ" Foster, CBS Founder and Inventor of System Baseball
Russ Foster started the Cincinnati Baseball School nearly 30 years ago and has taught over 29,000 students in his career. In addition to 256 college athletes and 9 Major League Baseball players, Russ has taught thousands of boys and girls how to play and enjoy baseball.
Based on the experience of a lifetime professional sports including his career in the NFL and as a pro pitcher, Russ created the System Baseball approach to teaching. Through an extensive process of research, body movement analysis and instructional design, Russ has created a highly successful teaching method that enables the student to focus on each body part, one part at a time, as they execute the proper mechanics of throwing, hitting, fielding and base-running.
"The System" method allows each student to progress at their own pace and makes baseball and learning fun and engaging while helping kids develop mental toughness and enhance tactical thinking skills.
"Baseball has been part of me for my entire life and to be able to teach young people about the game is great joy"
- Andy DePeel
Andy DePeel has been coaching at The Cincinnati Baseball School since 2007 and has played with MLB stars Marcus Davis and Devon Davis in addition to training Josh Harrison of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
A graduate and starter on the varsity team baseball team at Walsh University, Coach DePeel currently teaches math at Princeton High School.
In his second year as Varsity Assistant Coach at St. Xavier, Andy brings an understanding, passion and enthusiasm for both the game and teaching that makes being a student at The Cincinnati Baseball School great fun.
"I can't think of a better way to spend my summer than teaching young people to play and enjoy the game that I love.
- James Singleton
James Singleton has been coaching at The Cincinnati Baseball School since 2004 and was a student at our school prior to that.
A graduate and starter on the varsity team baseball team at Northern Kentucky University, Coach Singleton currently teaches 8th grade history at Reading Middle School.
An experienced coach and umpire for middle school and high school baseball and fast-pitch softball, Andy has an understanding and passion for the game that enables him to help his students play better baseball while developing a finer appreciation for the game.
Russ breaks down my swing into small pieces and helps me work on each piece until it's exactly the way we want it.
"The System" makes me confident that i'll get the results I want when i'm facing live pitching.

Give your child the gift of baseball with a holiday camp experience they won’t soon forget! For 26 years, Cincinnati Baseball School has offered the number one Christmas camp in the Tri-State area by teaching our CBS System while providing a fun and memorable experience for each and every camper.
Just because it's cold outside there's no reason to hang up your cleats and put away that glove. Get together with your friends, improve your game and get ready for Spring Training.
The CBS System takes the guesswork out of baseball instruction, helping young athletes build muscle memory and learn proper mechanics. The System player develops all of their tools — hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching, base-running, mental toughness and tactical strategies.
The CBS System is fun and engaging, designed to appeal to even the youngest players. It features lots of live batting practice and a scrimmage game at the end of each session and is a great way to make learning fun.
Turn baseball into a year-round sport and make the winter months as much fun as the summer ones at The Cincinnati Baseball School Christmas Baseball Camp.
